Wining Coffee Retablo

I painted this in honor of my favorite coffee shop—Winning Coffee—when they went out of business in 2019. For twenty-five years, Winning Coffee was a community keystone for the DIY art & performance poetry scene in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was also the place I could go to feel normal and safe shortly before and during the time I was homeless toward the end of high school.

While the original piece is NFS, I have prints of it available on a coffee mug I designed in my shop tab.
